What this site collects
NoiseLevelCheck needs no account, no email, and no form submission to show a place's noise reading. Like almost every website, the hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical data, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, for security and aggregate traffic measurement. That data is not used to identify anyone individually, and this site does not run its own analytics tracking.
Cookies and advertising
NoiseLevelCheck shows ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense may set cookies or use similar technology on your device to serve and, unless you opt out, personalise the ads you see; see Google's own advertising and privacy policies for how that works. This site does not itself read, store, or sell what those cookies collect.
Affiliate links
This site earns nothing from affiliate commissions today. If an affiliate relationship goes live, it will be disclosed here and on the page carrying the link at the same time.
Third parties
Noise readings are derived from US DOT/BTS and Census data, both public agencies; no personal data is exchanged with them. Hosting is provided by Firebase (Google). No data collected here is sold to third parties.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA and similar statutes in other US states give you the right to know what personal information a site has about you, to have it deleted, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. NoiseLevelCheck does not sell or share personal information and does not knowingly collect anything beyond the standard technical logs described above, so there is little to act on, but to ask what has been logged, request deletion, or exercise any other right you have under the law that applies to you, email hello@noiselevelcheck.com. You can opt out of ad personalisation directly through Google's own Ad Center or the industry-wide optout.aboutads.info tool.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
