Terms of Use, NoiseLevelCheck
What this site is
NoiseLevelCheck reports a place-level transportation noise reading derived from the US DOT/BTS National Transportation Noise Map. It is informational only and is not a survey of any specific address, a real-time measurement, or a guarantee of what a given street or block sounds like.
No warranty on the figures
Every figure traces to the named federal dataset above, but a modelled average is not a promise: a specific building's construction, its distance from the road centerline, and local terrain all move what a person actually hears, and none of those are in this dataset. Nothing on this site should be the sole basis for a home purchase, a lease, or any other decision.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site is real-estate, acoustical-engineering, or legal advice. Anyone weighing a purchase or lease around noise exposure should also get a site-specific acoustical assessment, not rely on this site alone.
Content and links
Site content and its presentation of the underlying data are the property of NoiseLevelCheck unless otherwise noted. External links are provided for convenience; NoiseLevelCheck does not control and is not responsible for third-party sites it links to.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the site changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the current version.
